Scooter & Wheelchair Hire

Mobility scooters and wheelchairs are available to hire hourly from our stall on the indoor market.

The service is available to allow people to get around town who may otherwise not be able to get out.

A declaration of liability form must be filled out when hiring a scooter for the first time by the user and although we have the scooters insured, please be aware that this does not cover personal liability, which you will be responsible for (ie if you run into anyone or cause any damage).

We charge an hourly rate of £3.00 per hour for Scooter and Wheelchair hire

Scooters and wheelchairs are available to hire Monday-Saturday from 9.30am and must be returned by 3.30pm

Not available Sundays or Bank Holidays

We do not accept advance telephone bookings for this service.
